Learn to Knit Something Cool, Even If You’ve Never Held Knitting Needles Before
Cold Feet? Here’s the Coziest Weekend Project
Even though the sun is still shining, there is something incredibly satisfying about preparing for those cooler evenings. If you are anything like us, you already know that handmade wool slippers are an absolute essential for walking around the house.
That is exactly why we are hosting a cozy Saturday workshop dedicated entirely to knitting and felting. We are clearing the big table in the shop and getting ready for a great few hours of crafting together.

A Relaxing Saturday of Crafting
On Saturday, August 29th, we are sitting down to tackle the fun process of making felted slippers. If you have never tried felting before, it is such a rewarding technique. There is a real sense of accomplishment in watching an oversized, loose knit transform into a thick, sturdy, and perfectly warm slipper.
To make sure everyone gets the help they need, we will have two or three teachers walking around the table. We will guide you step-by-step, from casting on the first stitches to explaining exactly how to wash your finished piece for the perfect felted result. No stress, just good company and guidance.

What You Need to Know
Here are the practical details for our weekend get-together:
When: Saturday, August 29th, from 11:00 to 14:00.
Where: Right here at Casa de Lana.
Price: €35. This includes a detailed pattern that you can take home to make slippers for the rest of your family later!
Refreshments: We are providing free coffee and snacks while we work. Because honestly, what is a knitting session without a good cup of coffee and a little treat?
The Materials
The cost of the workshop covers the teaching, the snacks, and the pattern, while yarn and needles are extra.
You are more than welcome to bring suitable wool and needles from your own stash at home. If you don't have what you need, just arrive a little early, and you can buy your materials directly in the shop. We have plenty of great options for felting, like the chunky and reliable Drops Snow, which works up beautifully for footwear.
Secure Your Spot at the Table
We like to keep our workshops intimate so everyone gets enough attention, which means we have a limited number of spots available.

If you want to spend a relaxing Saturday knitting, laughing, and drinking coffee with us, make sure to claim your seat! You can sign up directly at the counter next time you visit the shop, or just send an email to info@casadelana.com.
We are really looking forward to this one!
