Summer Hours at Casa de Lana
A Little Less Sun, A Lot More Yarn
Summer is well and truly here on the Costa Blanca. As the temperatures rise and the sun gets that familiar, intense summer glow, it is time to slow down just a little bit and embrace the Spanish rhythm.
While we love the heat, we also know that handling wool in the middle of a blazing afternoon isn't exactly a dream scenario. Because of this, we are making a few adjustments to our opening hours at Casa de Lana, starting Monday, June 22nd.
Our Summer Schedule (June 22 – September 1)
For the months of July and August, we are reducing our physical store hours to three days a week. We have picked the times when it is nicest to drop by, whether you want to browse our shelves or just sit down with your current project.
Our doors will be open on:
Tuesdays: 17:00 – 19:00 (Perfect for a late afternoon craft session)
Wednesdays: 17:00 – 20:00 Knitting Café (Avoid the evening heat outside)
Fridays: 10:30 – 13:30 (Start your weekend with coffee and yarn)
The physical store will be closed on the other days of the week, but don't worry – when we are open, the air conditioning is running on high. The shop is pleasantly chilled, making it a great place to escape the heat, grab a cup of coffee, and just sit and knit or crochet with us for a while.
The Webshop Never Sleeps
If you can't make it to the physical shop during our summer hours, you are still in luck.
Our online store is open 24/7, completely unaffected by the Spanish summer heat. We still offer fast delivery on all your favorite yarns and accessories, shipping directly to the entire Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe.
So, whether you need a fresh skein of cotton for a lightweight summer top, or you're already planning your autumn knits, we have got you covered.
